“Hi Gianluca, thanks to meet us! Us we considered your service very helpful for all Barcelona-home clients, we decided to discover more about the service. Can you tell us how does the whole process work exactly?”

GO:
“The whole process suppose to follow some easy steps:

  • Reservations: Directly on our website or through Whatsapp you can make your booking easy and fast. During the booking process we request the details of the service requested and the personal data of the customer. Only for services, like the port or airport transfer and the deposit for several days, we require an online prepayment, while for other services, payment is made during the luggage pick up.
  • Pick Up of the customer luggage: Our collaborator will show at the location and at the time set by the customers. Bags that are not supplied with a lock will be sealed by us with numbered straps. The customer must inform us if inside the suitcase there are fragile objects. Payments are made in cash or by credit card without the payment of any commission and a contract will be delivered with all the details.
  • Delivery of the luggage:  At ​​our customer’s scheduled time, our staff will proceed with the delivery of their luggage. If there will be any delays, no problem, compared to the pre-set time, we have a maximum of 10 minutes waiting, so if the customer is late, he must notify us by phone and we will be happy to reprogram the delivery or withdrawal according to our availability. Our company rating of delays is 0%, but in case of traffic that would not allow us to arrive at the destination in time, we will notify the customer, even for only 5 minutes late. Every customer after the service receives an email, where they can evaluate our service in withdrawal and delivery timing.”

“Where do the luggage get stored?”

GO:
“The suitcases are stored in our store (not open to the public) located near the “El Prat” airport. The opening of a new store in the city center is scheduled for 2018, where customers can bring their luggage to be deposited or transported to one of our luggage delivery points situated in Barcelona Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, Port of Barcelona, ​​Sants Station, North Station, Plaza Catalunya Bus Station. In the Barcelona area, we provide services by agreeing with the customer on the place of baggage collection.”

BH:
“How long can you store the baggage and how do you know which baggage belongs to who when it is stored? Do you check the baggage before it gets stored?”

GO:
“A part from exceptions, we will store the luggage for a maximum of 30 daysEach bag is labeled by us once taken over, with these labels, we will be able to associate each baggage with its owner. And yes, we control damages and especially in case of “suspicious baggage” we ask the customer to verify the content in his/her presence. In our Terms & Conditions we specify that we can refuse to take delivery of some luggage.”

BH:
“Do you have a main office that can be reached 24/7? Do you only drop the baggage in Barcelona?”

GO:
“Yes, our main office is in Carrer Balmes 89. We are open 7 days per week from 08.30 to 23.00. We can also pick up the luggage in the neighboring cities.”

BH:
“How long in advance do you need to book?”

GO:
“It depends on the type of service:

  • Luggage pick up in town: at least one hour before the service.
  • Airport and port luggage pick up: at ​​least 24 hours before the service.
  • Long term service: at ​​least 24 hours before the service.

There could be some exceptions in case we receive calls to our number.”


BH:
“How is calculated the price of the transfer?”

GO:
“We do not calculate the price of our services based on kilometers. The cost for each suitcase is 5 euros, but we apply a minimum cost for each service:

  • For airport services or long term services, the minimum cost is 20 euros.
  • For port services, the minimum cost is 30 euros.
  • For city services, the minimum cost is 15 euros.
    Example: Storage of 1 or 2 suitcases picked up in your apartment will be always at the same price of 15 euros; from the 3rd suitcase we will charge 5 euros more.”

BH:
“How have you make your company different from the competitors? There are some services that you think can make the difference, a part from the quality of your luggage transfer service?”

GO:
“Yes a part of the luggage transfer, that of course, is our core business that we do in a very professional way, we offer other 2 different services that differentiate us a lot from the other companies and cover different targets of clients. One is the Night Delivery and Group Discount service, and the other one is the Premium service.”
BH:
“How does the night delivery/groups discount service works?”

GO:
“Speaking about the Night delivery service, there are customers, mainly younger customers, who don’t book their last night at the hotel/apartment because they have the flight the next day early in the morning and prefer to spend their last night in Barcelona partying around. So BDS decide to give them the opportunity to enjoy their last night in Barcelona to the fullest without thinking about their luggage: we pick up the luggage at the check out in their apartment and deliver it the next morning straight to the airport or in any other agreed point. If there is a groups who leave us out of 15 suitcases we will make a discount, like for example in case of a bachelor party.”

BH:
“What does the premium service includes?”

GO:
“In the Premium service, we offer a combined taxi service and luggage storage transfer, which includes:

  1. Baggage pickup at the accommodation in the morning.
  2. When the client is ready to leave the city, the taxi recollect him wherever he is and bring him straight to the airport or any other agreed point. The bags are already in the car delivered by us to the taxi driver before.

The prices for this services are very convenient and you can save up to 10% from a normal taxi transfer. From 1 to 4 people + 1 to 4 bags 54€; for 5 people + 1 to 5 bags 63€; for 6 people + 1 to 6 bags 72€.
