Craving a chill? Then Icebarcelona is waiting for you just around the corner. If visiting an igloo is on your bucket list, you should scratch the surface here before trying out a real one. It´s pretty much the only time you´ll experience temperatures below 0 (in this case, -5ºC or 20ºF), in this sunny Mediterranean city. Icebarcelona provides guests with jacket and gloves, which will keep you warm enough in the frosty environment. The theme of the lounge, the lighting and the ice sculptures are updated quite often, making the bar a very dynamic one to visit. The average stopover inside lasts 45 minutes. After that, you can order a fresh, delicious cocktail on the terrace, right in front of the Mediterranean sea. Planning on staying close to Icebarcelona and the famous nightclubs of Port Olímpic? Then check out our Apartments in Vila Olimpica.

Do you seek purity? Then La Chapelle bar, with its somber Catholic theme might be just what you need. This bar stands out due to its religious decor, including a collection of saints on the walls. The bar is very small, narrow and limited in space, which might be a tiny bit claustrophobic for guests used to more open drinking establishments, but the amazing quality of drinks and economical price make it worth it. As a rebellion against religious dogma, La Chapelle is also a very gay-friendly place. It is located in the gay-friendly region within the district of Eixample, referred to as “Gayxample.”
