#Ice rinks at Avinguda Diagonal shopping centres

Have you always been dreaming of ice skating in front of the Rockefeller centre in New York? Your chance to feel like the real Christmas experience is closer than you think because New York’s experience has been brought to Barcelona. You can now ice skate in front of some shopping centres right in Barcelona city.

1. L’illa Diagonal centre

L’illa Diagonal Centre is the shopping mall that is located in Les Corts. This shopping centre holds 170 shops, bars, and restaurants. So, during your search for the best gifts for your family, you can hop on the ice for 25 minutes and enjoy the winter feeling in between all the shopping. Just put down your shopping bags and have some fun on the ice.
The ice rink is opened from the end of November until the beginning of January. At L’illa Diagonal you can go ice skating for €3,50 for 25 minutes, during weekdays. During the weekend the price is €6.

2. La Maquinista

La Maquinista is a shopping centre with 200 shops and restaurants. It even has a cinema on the top floor. During your shopping session or before going to the cinema, you can ice skate in front of this shopping centre. At La Maquinista you can truly feel like you are at the Rockefeller centre in New York.

 

Opening hours: Monday to Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 16:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturdays until 9 pm.

#Ice skating next to Camp Nou

Next to the amazing stadium of FC BARCELONA, CAMP NOU sits a big ice rink. The ice rink is made as big as the Olympic ice rink, so the amateur ice hockey team and figure skaters can practice here as well. Besides the training sessions for the ice hockey team and figure skaters, they also host competitions in the Barça ice rink. But the ice rink is open to the public every day to enjoy some fun on the ice. You can bring your own skates, but if you do not have any, you can rent them at the ice rink as well for only €14 including the entrance ticket. When you are a member of Barça, you even get a discount. So, grab your winter outfit and go have some fun on the ice!
