The Diagonal Mar Shopping Centre is Catalonia´s biggest shopping centre located near to the Mar Bella beachfront, close to Poblenou. It has been built with shopaholics strictly in mind to enjoy the wide choice of shops and restaurants on offer.

Diagonal Mar was opened in 2001 and its large size is equally matched by its popularity amongst those visiting and living in Barcelona. With more than 190 stores on 3 floors you will be hard-pressed to leave empty-handed. It includes many well-known international and Spanish brands such as Zara, H&M, Primark and FNAC. There is also an Alcampo supermarket, cinema and restaurants.

If you need a bit of a break from the crowds, the second largest park in Barcelona, Parc de la Diagonal Mar, is situated right next to the centre. It provides a beautiful and peaceful setting in which to sit.
