Ciutat dels Somnis

La Ciutat dels Somnis (or The city of Dreams) is the event named as the heir of the traditional Children’s Festival that was held in the city until 2016. This new approach further aims to bring the world of professions to children between 0 and 12 years old through 120 recreational and educational activities.

Moreover, the children can play as a cook, computer scientist, mechanic, chemist, veterinarian, journalist or actor, among many other trades; 115 in total! This is a way to discover the tasks that must be developed in each of them. The ultimate goal is for children to discover and experience what they like best!

On the other hand, Ciutat dels Somnis will try and recreate several urban spaces and equipment; for instance, a nursery, a supermarket, a veterinary clinic, a cinema, the port, the fair, a technology park, a large sports area and the City Hall and the Provincial Council, among other equipment citizens.

In addition, in each zone diverse activities will be developed on the professions that will be adapted by age groups. In these activities there will be experimentation, action, sport, crafts, workshops, symbolic play, family gymnastics, concerts, shows and entertainment.
