The new season is nearly here and July 30 sees Celtic vs FC Barcelona taking place in Dublin, Ireland. FC Barcelona are competing in The International Champions Cup and starting their campaign against the Scottish Champions, Celtic.

FC Barcelona and their competitive new season starts with the SuperCopa de España against Sevilla on August 14. Before the two legged SuperCopa tie which will also see a return leg at the Camp Nou, Barcelona will play Celtic, English Champions Leicester City, Liverpool and Sampdoria. The new La Liga season starts at home on August 20 as FC Barcelona take on Real Betis. Barcelona will be hoping to repeat the success of last season and win La Liga for the 25th time. This season will also see FC Barcelona hoping to claim a 6th UEFA Champions League. With world class superstars like Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez forming a formidable attaching trio FC Barcelona will be amongst the favourites to win the competition.
The last time Celtic vs FC Barcelona took place Barcelona were emphatic winners in the Camp Nou. Neymar scored a fabulous hat-trick as Barca won 6-1. Celtic have sprung some surprises in the past including several famous wins at Celtic Park most recently in 2012 as Celtic won 2-1.
FC Barcelona have signed four new players so far this summer. Focussing on the future, all four signings are under 25 and should form part of an exciting new future for the club. Fans will be hoping to see some of these signings during Celtic vs FC Barcelona alongside arguably the greatest player of all time, Lionel Messi.
