Every Sunday from June 26 to September 11 head down to Brunch in The Park. With some world class artists on show and plenty of activities make sure you visit this brilliant series of events whilst you’re in Barcelona. Whether it’s with friends or family these shows are not to be missed as you bask in Barcelona’s glorious sunshine.
Brunch in The Park
Brunch in The Park moves around the southern edge of the city throughout the year and sets up base camp at Jardines de Joan Brossa during the summer. The gardens are overlooked by the majestic Castell de Montjuïc and provide the perfect venue for these brilliant weekly events. Surrounded by alluring green gardens and with fabled cable cars towering overhead where else would you want to spend your Sunday?
There’s even something for children at this event with the Petit Brunch running from 13.00 to 19.00. The kids can enjoy the workshops and activities whilst you shop local up and coming designers stalls and have some delicious food at the food trucks that adorn the gardens. This Sunday there is a climbing wall, skateboarding, scooters, dance workshops, water slide and much more! Brunch in The Park is a perfect family fun day out! There are also family activities you can do together- this week its family yoga!
Aside from the activities Brunch in the Park hosts some of the best DJs in dance (EDM) music. Artists who have already played this summers events include BBC Radio 1 Legend Pete Tong & US sensation Magda. This week’s superstars include Tale of Us & Audio-In. The music kicks off at 13.00 and finishes at 22.00. So there’s plenty of time for you to get back to the city centre and keep the party going or go to one of Barcelona’s amazing restaurants for something to eat.
Tickets for this Sunday’s event at Brunch in The Park are available online or they can be purchased on the door with prices starting at €14.50. We’ll see you in the garden for a dance off!!!
