Bar Casi Bar Casi is a restaurant that has an authentic Catalan cuisine, located in the district of Gràcia in the north of the city centre. It is a popular restaurant that attracts locals as well as tourists. The attentive staff proudly take customers on a culinary journey and amusingly even display a sign that says “We speak poor English, but we cook very well.” Starter options include mussels, gazpacho, vegetarian omlette, chickpea salad and a local speciality “Trinxat” (pork, potatoes and cabbage). El Tio Che El Tio Che is an artisan ice-cream shop that exists more than 100 years and is situated in Poble nou, a neighbourhood close to the sea. They are known for serving flavours of ice creams, slush and traditional drinks made from ancient recipes. Besides these sweet desserts, they also serve sandwiches and hotdogs. Their ice-cream doesn’t contain preservatives, colourings, pasteurizations, lyophilisation but is only made from nutmeg, water and sugar.
