Caelis restaurant in Hotel El Palace Barcelona was awarded a Michelin star in 2010. This elegant venue serves exquisite and intricate dishes by celebrated international chef Romain Fornell. Average prices are approximately €85 a head and with over 300 different wines available from the extensive cellar to balance and compliment your meal. Diners can choose from the two tasting menus or the a la carte menu.

The restaurant draws inspiration from the Mediterranean. They offer seafood and meat options beautifully prepared with premium ingredients. Starter options include the bluefin tuna with foie gras, granny smith apple and ginger vinaigrette, beef tartar or crispy egg with summer truffle, courgette, almonds and tomato. The main courses feature wild sea bass or red mullet, smoked beef fillet or pressed duck. The popular dessert offering is the cristal melba ball with mascarpone, raspberry and peach.
