Internship in Barcelona

I always have loved Barcelona, it is a beautiful cozy city with allot to offer. So when I had the chance to do my internship there I took my chance right away. I just dreamed about leaving the cold raining weather in the Netherlands for the warm sun of Barcelona.  Of course there are some big question marks when you are moving to another country for a long period, like where  am I going to live, how will I find an apartment, how do I know the apartment is not fake. In my university they warned us to be careful when searching for an apartment, because some students had have some problems in the past with fake companies  offering cheap apartments.

Gladly for me everything worked just fine, An friend of my recommended me Barcelona-Home. The fact that my friend  recommended  me Barcelona-Home  and said they are trustful and that you really get what you booked for convinced me to find my apartment with Barcelona-Home.

Arriving in Barcelona
Finally the moment was there, I landed at Barcelona El Prat. Luckily the airport is very close to the center of Barcelona. The shuttle services (busses) takes about 30 minutes. In no time I was doing the check-in, at the office of Barcelona-Home. The people there where very kind, everything went smoothly. The apartment was as expected, no real differences from the pictures.  After some days I did have some problem with the air-conditioning, but the owner was very kind and fixed the problem.

I really think Barcelona is the best city in Europe, it has something to offer for every person. For example when I wanted to do some hiking or climbing I would go to the  mountains of Montjui  which are very accessible and close.  Then when I wanted  to relax in the sun I could go to the beaches which are also very close form the city center. For some travelling , I would go to Sitges or Girona, all beautiful places.
