Poble Espanyol Summer Nights sees the very first edition of an exciting new festival, the “Nits d’Estiu”, to brighten up our already wonderful evenings in beautiful Barcelona.

The festival will showcase fabulous performances across a variety of creative disciplines including music, comedy and movies. There’s also a bit of magic for those of us who love to be dazzled and amazed by a trick or two.
Poble Espanyol Summer Nights is the place to be this summer as the “Plaça Mayor” becomes an outdoor theatre and the stage for these wonderful events.
This famous centre in Montjuïc will see three different types of festival take place over these high summer months. There’s the Sing-Alongs, Evenings of Blues and the Riuestiu. Each series is fun, fresh and exciting in its own special way.
Wednesdays at Poble Espanyol Summer Nights in Barcelona will see the exciting Summer Comedy Festival entertain crowds. Running from July 20 to August 10 this is the perfect way to spend an evening with magic, clowns, monologues and theatre from an array of talented artists.
Thursdays will welcome in a programme of outdoor shows from local blues music specialists from across Barcelona. These weekly live performances start at 9pm and provide a soulful and soothing soundtrack on the approach to the weekend. After all, Thursday is the new Friday and Poble Espanyol Summer Nights will provide the perfect setting.
Who doesn’t love a sing-along? Throughout July musical films will be projected onto the big screen and subtitled so you can sing until your hearts content. Iconic films like Grease, Dirty Dancing, Moulin Rouge and Mamma Mia are being shown so head down, have a drink and enjoy a wonderful evening under the stars singing famous and catchy anthems known all over the world.
