The International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia is overall the number one fantasy film festival in the world! Mercat de Mercats: a three day long food festival in Barcelona. Between the last days of October you can visit Mercat de Mercats, a festival for lovers of food and drink. This outdoor food festival is located in the centre of Barcelona’s Gothic quarter, which itself is worth visiting. The market starts in the square in front of Barcelona Cathedral called Avinguda de la Cathedral and continues in to the Gothic area.
