Queen and Adam Lambert is a musical collaboration between the active members of the British band “Queen” (Brian May and Roger Taylor) and the American vocalist Adam Lambert. The Queen + Adam Lambert Summer Festival Tour is an upcoming summer concert tour, which will begin on 20 May in Lisbon and arrive to Barcelona on May the 22nd at the Palau Sant Jordi.
About Queen and Adam Lambert
Queen and Adam Lambert first performed together in 2009, when Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor appeared as guests on the eighth season of American Idol, on which Adam Lambert was a contestant. Then, in November of 2011, Adam Lambert joined Queen for a special performance at the MTV Europe Awards in Belfast, where Queen received a Global Icon Award. The musicians have performed some concerts together, for example in Kiev´s Independence Square on June 30, 2012.
Most of the songs they are expected to sing are from their own top hits. These include “Dragon Attack” and “Somebody to Love” from Queen, as well as “Ghost Town” and “Underground” from Adam Lambert.

How to get to the Palau Sant Jordi
The Palau Sant Jordi was built for the Olympics Games of 1992. It’s a large indoor sporting arena located on the Montjuic mountain of Barcelona. To reach Palau Sant Jordi from the city center of Barcelona there are several options:
- By metro: Line 1 (Red line) and Line 3 (Green line), metro station: Plaça Espanya. Then walk or take a bus to Palau Sant Jordi.
- By bus: The buses that stop in Plaça Espanya and go up to the Olympic Ring are the 150 and 55 (get off at station Avinguda de l’Estadi) and 13 (get off at station Olympic Stadium).
- By Montjuïc funicular: Connects with metro line 3 (Green line) and line 2 (Purple line). It is a 10-15 minute walk to the arena.
