Join us for a cinema experience under the Barcelona sky. Sala Montjuïc hosts one of Barcelona’s most popular open-air cinema festivals with award-winning film artists here on the grounds of the Castell de Montjuïc! All films will be shown in their original language, with Spanish subtitles. Different bands will also play around, including some Jazz, Flamenco, and swing. Also, for a more comfortable experience, you can rent chairs and/or a picnic blanket. You can also bring your own picnic materials so you can enjoy what you like most.
The festival runs from July 1st to August 5th with different cinemas to choose from, music entertainment, and fun time spent with friends and family.

Ticket information: Tickets for general admission are €7.50 and tickets including a lounger will be €10.50. You can purchase your ticket online, or at the door, the day of as long as the screening you are wanting to purchase is not sold out.
There are no rules on mask regulations, but only if you want to wear one. It is not required! The venue opens at 8:30 pm and the event starts at 8:45 pm, so we recommend getting there a little earlier to get a good spot. The screenings won’t start till 10:00 pm, but the live music happens at 8:45 pm. Location: Fossat de Santa Eulàlia moat at Montjuïc Castle (Castell de Montjuïc). You can drive yourself and arrive by car, motorbike, or bicycle, and have the ability to park in the free parking areas around the castle. Also, you can catch the regular bus (150 lines) to reach the castle from Plaça Espanya and Sala Montjuïc will provide buses to return to the city once the screening is over. Guests can bring their own food and drinks if they prefer, but there will also be a restaurant and bar service available at the venue.
