Barcelona Design Week 2017
Barcelona Design Week is an annual meeting of design that showcases products from the Architecture and Design Industry. This amazing event takes place from the 2nd of June until the 12th of June.
Its main venue is the Disseny Hub Barcelona but other parts of the city will also play a key role. Here they will organise special activities by studios, creative companies and other agencies situated in different neighbourhoods of Barcelona.
Barcelona Design Week is organised by the Barcelona Design Centre since 2006. It is one of the major design weeks on the international calendar that brings together the key agents of the design and business community. They showcase graphic design, urban planning, user experience design, technology, architecture, music, food, film, and more. This international event attracts yearly different professionals, companies and individuals from this sector, but also students and general public related to design.
Last edition of the BDW they attracted a record attendance of more than 11.000 people. And to celebrate the 11th edition, they will offer an exciting programme with different events, such as workshops, conferences, presentations, exhibitions, talks, debates and discussions, artistic events and installations or tournaments, as well as business and networking activities.
