- A little bit of history: The original concept of Adidas was founded in 1924 when Adi Dassler registered the “Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik” and had as a mission to provide athletes the best possible equipment. It is really the idea, that came in 1954, of screw-in-studs on lightweight football boots that launched the brand. Since then, the brand kept on innovating, they have built their brand with excellent marketing adverts.
- Adidas in numbers: Adidas employs more than 60,000 people in over 160 countries, and produces more than 840 millions products units every year. And it has generated sales of €19 billion for the year of 2016.
