Universidad Abierta de Cataluña (UOC) is an internet-based public university founded in 1994 and based in Barcelona, Spain. It is one of the most important universities in Catalonia, with 49,672 students, 68,479 graduates and 3,709 academic staff. The university also has several alumni groups in many Spanish cities. UOC offers graduate and postgraduate programs in Catalan, Spanish and English in fields including psychology, computer science, education sciences, information and knowledge society, and economics.
