Santa Rita Experience
The Santa Rita Experience located near the emblematic Parc de la Ciutadella offers freshly prepared food in unique surroundings in Barcelona. The Head Chef, after considerable experience in established restaurants, opened the Santa Rita Experience to showcase his own personal in-home culinary opulence.
In intimate and classy surroundings the owner Xabi Bonilla rustles up an appeasing feast of enticing dishes as part of an excellent tasting menu. The restaurant has a “supper club” where you can either dine at a shared or private tables in the chef’s home. Alongside the marvellous dining experience you can also jump into a hands-on cooking workshop. You’ll cook using the freshest ingredients before dining in the restaurant whilst savouring the unique tastes and aromas of Spanish and Catalan cuisine. At approximately €100 per head including food and drinks this adaptable gastronomic occasion is truly memorable.
The Santa Rita Experience offers seasonal menus at €65 per head. The menu is made up of 6 courses and organic wine pairing. The 2016 summer menu includes some dishes like hake ceviche with pickled eggplant and a tomato and coriander mojo, almond gazpacho with melon, cured fresh tuna, plums and refreshing iced watermelon, potato ravioli stuffed with mushrooms and truffle mayonnaise, octopus and squid rice accompanied by some fashionable and textured plankton and terrine of lamb served with zucchini flowers. The meal will conclude with a cheese mousse, beetroot, green tea and pistachio dessert.
