Pompeu Fabra University is a new university, founded in 1990. The university is named after the academic who dedicated his life to studying the Catalan language and to standardizing it.
In 2016, the institution was the 15th highest ranked university in the world among those under 50 years of age. In 2015, it was ranked 2nd in Spain. The tuition fee for the Master’s program is around 3,300€ for EU citizens and 4,100€ for non-EU citizens.
The three campuses are located at the following addresses:
- Campus de la Ciutadella : Carrer de Ramon Trias Fargas, 25-27
- Campus del Poblenou : Carrer de Roc Boronat, 138
- Campus del Mar : Carrer del Dr. Aiguader, 80
At Pompeu Fabra University, three areas of studies are offered: social sciences and humanities, health and life sciences, and ITC and communication sciences.
