Napa
Napa is a restaurant in the heart of the Eixample district of Barcelona that specialises in Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine with a distinct Californian influence. They use only fresh market produce and serve fantastic food in a trendy environment.
The restaurant offers a range of warm and cold tapas dishes with classic and innovative options. Classic dishes include olives, anchovies, patatas bravas, Iberian ham, calamari and a cheese platter. More inventive cold tapas dishes include foie gras bonbons with dried apricots and nuts and a high quality salmon and cod carpaccio with citrus fruits and olive oil caviar. The warm tapas include a spin on traditional croquettes with cuttlefish and eggplant and gorgonzola options. Specialties are the duck magret with diced cooked apple and a teriyaki and tonkatsu sauce.
Napa specialises in tacos with four different options of tuna, pork, chicken and vegetables. Dessert options include tiramisu, chocolate fondant and the famous Napa banana split with papantla vanilla, maresme strawberry, 72% Antonio Chavez chocolate ice cream over a banana foam. The daily three course menu for €12.50 is available Monday to Friday with a combination of a la carte dishes and specials.
You should also try one of their signature gin and tonics or bourbon cocktails. They also offer a good wine and beer selection from California and Spain.
