A Museum of modern arts through time
MACBA is one of the most visited museums in Barcelona, hosting a wide range of contemporary masterpiece made by talented artists from the mid-20th century. The building itself, designed by Richard Meier, is a piece of architectural art with a floor plan of more than 20,000 m2. With a space big enough to bring ideas together , it allows the public to explore the most complex vision of modern art and lets each art to be experimented from all around the landmark cultural plaza.

After visiting the MACBA, we highly recommend you to visit “Ravalejar!” walk around the Raval district (ask for the map), and you will be able to see a much younger and dynamic, multicultural neighborhood full with a huge variety of foods, attractions, shops and other great entertainment from different cultures and traditions.
