Los Tarantos
Spain is very famous for its dances, especially the Flamenco. After Madrid and Andalusia, Barcelona is the third best city to see the beauty of Flamenco shows and Los Tarantos is one of the most famous venues in Barcelona for flamenco.
About fifty years ago Los Tarantos opened on Plaça Reial, traditionally decorated to welcome on stage the most famous professional Flamenco dancers like the Mas i Mas group, Duquende or even the Flamenco legend Joseph Menese. From its opening in 1963 to nowadays, Los Tarantos is an unavoidable place for the dance lovers and for the tourists who want to see traditional flamenco.
As well as the dance, they also show flamenco singers in an intense 30 minutes show every night. The venue has a seating area with tables and chairs around a small stage to create the intimate atmosphere of an authentic Spanish Tablao. A full service bar is also available.
