Ikea is a Swedish company which sells furniture and home items. They have stores all around the world and the concept consists of providing a range of self-service stores. Ikea Barcelona opened in 1996 and continues to be popular because of its good prices.
The company´s mission statement is: “Offering the widest range of functional home furnishing with a good design, with the lowest possible price so that as many people as possible can afford their items”.
They have items for the house including kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. It has furniture and decorative items such as beds, chairs, mirrors, tables, wardrobes, electrical appliances, sofas, lighting and textiles.
