Disfrutar restaurant opened in 2014, inspired by the restaurant Compartir by the chefs Mateu Casanas, Oriol Castro and Eduard Xatruch. Disfrutar is not a copy of Compartir but it shares the most important aspects of a warm and welcoming ambiance, an attentive service, and relaxed staff. The restaurant is bold, fun and modern, with taste being the principal value.

Located infront of the Ninot Market, the restaurant is surprising in its design. It has respect for the history and heritage of the Mediterranean, while the ceramic is the thread that marks the inside space. The central corridor, made of ceramic, passes through the kitchen which is totally visible to the customer and leads to the main room, inspired by the fishing villages, a bright, white space, leading to the terrace.

In late 2015 and in celebration of its first year of opening, the restaurant received its first Michelin Star and also was recognized with two Repsol Suns. The Catalan Academy of Gastronomy and Nutrition also nominated it “Restaurant of the Year” and the world of design has give it first prize in the Interiors category of the Restaurants & Bar Design Awards.
