Can Culleretes is a traditional Catalan restaurant where little has changed since its original opening in 1786. It is a real trip back in time to Barcelona´s past!
The restaurant is hidden on a narrow street in the Gothic Quarter, which you need to be attentive to find but once you do, it will be a treat. The dishes are authentic and some typical Catalan classics are escudella (a traditional soup), botifarra amb seques (pork sausage and beans), civet de pork senglar (stewed wild boar) or canelons d´espinacs amb brandada de bacalla (a spinach and cod cannelloni). They also offer grilled seafood, fried fish or steamed mussels and wines from all over Spain.
