Blavis
Blavis is a restaurant in the Barcelona serving Spanish cuisine. The restaurant is has a limited number of tables, so reservations should be made.
The restaurant uses local fresh market produce with a distinctly Catalan flavour. The staff carefully explain each dish creating an “in-house” experience. The menu changes seasonally with a focus on quality and flavour. Typical tapas dishes include eggplant carpaccio, prawn ceviche, broken eggs with chorizo and pork tacos.
Located in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, the restaurant also has international dishes such as salmon sashimi, beef tataki served with asparagus and the classic Blavis salad with pears, hazelnuts, blue cheese and argula. The special desserts are chocolate fondant or strawberry sorbet.
At approximately €30-40 per head it is superb value for money. A must when you’re in Barcelona.
