BCN-Kinder is an association of parents established in 2002. Their aim is to establish an intercultural and multilingual environment in which their children can develop into well-rounded individuals. It is a non-profit organization, funded entirely by the families.
The parents involved with BCN-Kinder give special importance to collaboration and family involvement. They believe that family participation is vital to the proper functioning of the center, for working in groups, in day-to-day activities or becoming a member of the board.
The goal of educators is to support the development of children in a respectful and enjoyable environment. All educational activities maintain a ratio of 6-8 children per teacher, to make sure each child gets the individual attention they need. They also attach great importance to free play, interaction with the natural environment, music and artistic expression. At BCN-Kinder children are directed in the right path so that they grow up in the best environment.
