Arume Restaurant is a Galician restaurant that focuses on intense flavours by offering renovated versions of classic dishes. The menu has a twist on the famous Galician octopus “pulpo a la gallega” served with a seaweed, crushed garlic and black pepper sauce. The originality of their menu is why this dish won 2015 tapa of the year. The restaurant’s specialty dessert is groseille-chocolate cookie with mascarpone, berries and violet ice cream.
From the outside the restaurant looks small, but it has lots of tables inside. The service is, as the cuisine, very good, and the waiters speak Spanish, English and French.
The restaurant is located in the Raval district of Barcelona, close Sant Antoni. A fun fact! The restaurant is located where the Spanish writer Vázquez Montalbán was born!
