The Power of Citizens: from consumers to users
The Circular Economy European Summit Barcelona conference will bring experts in circular economy together to improve professional’s knowledge and how it can be used to help them. A circular economy is the transition from a linear model of use and arrangement to a circular model. It has a regenerative design and focuses on reusing materials and resources.
The conference will include panel sessions and talks by stakeholders from different areas. Visitors will also be able to participate in discussions on networking and case studies, as well as circular workshops.
The aim of the Circular Economy European Summit Barcelona is to increase talking between the government, citizens and private sectors. It will help the movement towards urban circular systems which improve the economy, personal wealth and ecology.
Three main topics will be covered at the conference, ‘Cities as the vanguard of the circular economy’, ‘Industry Transformation: at the heart of the circular economy’ and ‘The power of citizens within the transition: from consumers to users.’ These are important problems to discuss to have a successful circular economy. 8 panel sessions, 2 stakeholder dialogues, 1 elevator pitch session, 1 dialogue session, 4 keynote sessions and 8 CEES talks will take place.
