Breathing the Mediterranean air
I always enjoy coming to Barcelona. For me it is like a second home. It feels like coming home to Barcelona and breathing the Mediterranean air. I lived in Barcelona 4 years with my parents, so I know the city very well. But I decided to study in Germany, where I actually come from. But I couldn’t live with the idea of staying the whole time in the gray and rainy Germany, so I thought I have to come back to Barcelona for a longer stay, because it is such a beautiful city. During my studies I had the chance to absolve an internship abroad. So for me the decision was clear, I would find something in Barcelona. Then I came across Barcelona Home and I found the possibility to do an internship at Barcelona Home. I liked the idea of staying three months in the sunny multi-cultural city. Not only because I love speaking Spanish, but also because of the beautiful situation of Barcelona. It is perfect in summer to go bathing in the sea but also doing city sightseeing and of course shopping.
So I enjoy being here in Barcelona combining it with doing an internship at a great work place, where I can gain a lot of work experience. I am very happy to be at the most beautiful city in Europe. And I am confident of having an amazing time in Barcelona, and also improve my language skills. A stay abroad is always a great experience, also being away from your family surroundings and being on your own. It gives the chance to further one’s personal development. So I hope having an amazing experience here at Barcelona-Home.
