The area is known for its many tourist attractions, including the magnificent Cathedral of Barcelona and Palau de la Musica Catalana, one of the most important examples of Catalan Modernist architecture. For a nice lunch visit the Mercat de Santa Caterina in el Born and purchase some fresh ingredients to prepare at home or to enjoy as a picnic, with views of the stunning Arc de Triomf, in nearby Ciutadella park.
