The living room features an open floor plan: a lounge space with a cozy couch facing a TV, a dining area with a table and 4 comfortable chairs, and an open kitchenette with cabinets that can be closed to save space. All throughout the apartment you will find smooth parquet floors and soft lighting to put you at ease and help you prepare for a long day of sightseeing.
This accommodation is great for guests who want to learn about the architecture and history of Barcelona, as it is close to a large majority of the tourist attractions the city offers. Within a short walk you will reach the magnificent Catedral de Barcelona, the Palau de Musica Catalana, Liceu opera house and Casa Batlló by Gaudí. The Urquinaona metro station and the several bus and metro connections of the nearby transportation hub Plaza Catalunya will provide you with quick access to wherever you want to go. The nearby Gothic quarter and el Born neighborhoods are both great for finding a place to eat. We recommend a sunny terrace, such as that of the restaurant Santagustina in the picturesque Plaça de Sant Agustí Vell.

The owner we met explained to us the surrounding areas, good places to have a meal or to visit. The apartment is literally in the city center near Plaza Catalunya so we did not need to take any transport. There is a lift which is very helpful. Hopefully we will come again next year!
