Here you can find information about the rental conditions and terms, but if you will have any unclarities after reading the information below, you can always contact us.
Check in and out times
Check in and check out times vary depending on your landlord. You find the check in and out times for your apartment in the confirmation email and apartment listing on our website. Usually you may not enter the apartment before the announced check in time, as there might be another guests leaving the apartment the same day and the landlord needs to prepare the apartment for your stay. However, if you arrive early, you can contact your landlord a few days before traveling and request the apartment’s availability. He or she will let you know if you can enter the apartment at the time requested. If this is not possible, there may be alternative options available (e.g.: leaving your bags in the apartment, or using the public lockers to store them until check in time).
When you check in, you must be able to show a valid passports of all the guests and the credit card that you have paid with. It is not possible to check in before the payment for the whole stay is made.
Payment
Due to the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) system installed on our site, your credit card information can be transferred to us online without being viewed by any outside sources when you choose to use credit card as payment method. The Secure Sockets Layer represents an encrypted link between our server and your browser, which ensures that all communication between your and our system will remain confidential. On our website we accept the most usual payment methods. The owner will inform you how the pending amount will be paid.
Remember that the person who signs the check in documents and collects the keys has to be the same person who has made the payment and reservation. Also, the pending amount has to be paid with the same credit card that was used at the time of reserving. Check in is possible only after we have received the payment. Therefore, in some cases you’ll be asked to pay the whole amount in advance. This is done to make your arrival and check in process easy and effortless.
Deposit
If a deposit is required, you’ll pay it before your stay or on arrival. The deposit will be returned at the end of the stay. The deposit is charged to cover possible damages during your stay. When you make your reservation, you’ll be informed how to pay the deposit.
Apartment rules
The landlords are delighted to host you but also kindly ask all the guests to respect the neighborhood and treat the apartment as their own. Therefore, loud noises and other disturbing behavior isn’t accepted in the apartments. The number of guests has to equal with the amount of people in reservation. The landlord decides about accommodation rules like age limits or if animals are allowed in the apartment. Specific rules are always noted in the apartment description.

Damages and lost items
The apartment should be in the same condition as it was found upon arrival. You must inform the owner about any loss or damage in the apartment as soon as possible. Guests are always responsible for any damages that they have caused in the apartment and are in charge for covering the damages.
Apartment information
The landlords provide all the information given on our website about the apartments. This means that the landlords are responsible for any errors in the description of an apartment.
Tourist tax
Tourist tax in Barcelona city is 2,25 € +10% VAT and in rest of Catalonia 0,90 € +10% VAT. This concerns only short term holiday visits. The tax will be paid only for the first seven days to the landlord upon arrival. Notice that the total price doesn’t include tourist tax.

Necessary documentation
Before you rent an apartment long term, you must be able to show a valid passport and documentation from your school or employer.
What is included in the price
The total price includes administrative costs and the rent for the whole rental period. Utilities or deposit are not included in the price when you rent an apartment long term. You can see the amount of these costs in the apartment listing. You always pay the deposit and cleaning costs before the stay or upon arrival. Sometimes the landlord can offer a cleaning service with an additional cost to make your stay comfortable.

Upon arrival you will pay deposit, first month’s rent and cleaning costs.
