1.La Molina and Masella:
– la Molina:
La Molina is less than two hours away from Barcelona and is the closest big ski resort to Barcelona, which along with the high standard installations makes it an obvious destination for many visitors in the capital of Catalonia.

La Masella has a total of 74 kilometers of the high-quality ski area, with the altitude peaking at 2,525 meters. The great part about La Masella is that it’s only three kilometers away from La Molina. With an ALP2500 SKI PASS, you’ll get access to both La Masella and La Molina, which gives you the option to enjoy the best of both centers.
You can reach La Masella within two hours from Barcelona. The easiest way of transportation, like La Molina, is by a Renfe train in case you don’t have a car.

2.Port Ainé:

It is located in the municipality of Rialp, in the Pyrenees of Lleida, right at the foot of the Pic de l’Orri (with 2440 meters).

Above all, this ski resort is really famous for its quality of snow and for hosting numerous competitions of all winter sports. Furthermore, the tracks are special by being within lush black pine forests.
How to get there?
To sum up, most of the ski resorts & snowy areas near Barcelona are one and a half hours or two hours from Barcelona. You don’t have a car? Don’t worry!! To clarify, there is the option of going by public transport as well. The station, “Estació del Nord” is the only one that has as destinations ski resorts or villages close to Barcelona. You can get there by public transport, with the metro line 1 and get off at the Arc del Triomf station or take the bus 54 and Renfe Cercanías lines 1.3 and 4.
