There are two different venues in central Barcelona where you can catch one of these fantastic shows. The first is Teatre Poliorama, which is just off La Rambla. It is a perfect location to sit back with a snack and a drink and be blown away by this performance. But, if your standard theatre room is not enough, combine a little modernism into an Andalus extravaganza at Palau de la Música Catalana. Both theatres are located in the Gothic neighbourhood and are very easy to find.

Teatre Poliorama

Teatre Poliorama has been performing Flamenco shows for more than 10 years. Its intimate environment will give you the opportunity to enjoy the show in a unique way. The two most popular shows in Barcelona’s history are Opera y Flamenco and Gran Gala Flamenco.

Opera y Flamenco is a show which tells a love story between two dancers, interpreted by their own souls: soprano and tenor. Moreover, it is the most-watched flamenco show in the history of Barcelona. They have recorded almost three million spectators!

Palau de la Música Catalana

The Palau de la Música Catalana also presents the Grand Gala Flamenco show because it is the most popular show in Barcelona. The venue is very large and the music is spreading to every corner of the hall. In addition to a fantastic flamenco show, you can admire the inside of the Palau. Moreover, Palau de la Música Catalana is so beautiful, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Gran Gala Flamenco is the journey of the intensity of a Gipsies life. It takes the spectator through different “Palos” (various musical forms) of flamenco, including “bulería”, “solea”, “alegría”, “tango” and many more. with which the spectator will discover the intensity, the passion of the art of the dance. You will also be introduced to the new generation of flamencos artists in Barcelona.
