This fantastic one bedroom apartment in Poblenou is perfect for couples renting a car for a weekend getaway or extended stay in Barcelona. The location is easily accessible by car, due to its close proximity to the Ronda Litoral, a major thoroughfare running down along the coastline. The neighborhood is removed from the narrow, twisting alleyways and crowded side streets that make Barcelona´s downtown so difficult to drive through.
This sunny and modern lodging will give you the chance to get away from the noise and to relax in a peaceful neighborhood just a few steps from the sea. The area is well known for its gardens, green areas and its quick access to two of Barcelona´s most beautiful beaches, Playa de Bogatell and the sporty Playa de Mar Bella. You will enjoy a fantastic view of these beaches from the living area, which is equipped with a pretty dining table for four, a cozy couch and a small desk with wheels, perfect for getting some work done. This contemporary and elegant two bedroom family home is one of our favorite Apartments with Parking Barcelona, a great choice for a couple with their children visiting the city for short- or long-term stay. Set in a historical building in the Poble Sec neighborhood, the apartment boasts wonderful design elements, such as smooth, light wooden floors and a picturesque balcony with wrought iron railings. The interior is, for the most part, modern in its design, with a chic black, white and beige color scheme and furniture of Scandinavian style. The space is minimally decorated but the details that you will find are tastefully chosen. We especially love the black and white tripartite photo of an elephant in the living room and the long horizontal mirror with painted gold frames adorning the dining room wall. The sleeping spaces will guarantee comfort; there is a master bedroom with an elegant, jet black wall, double bed and ensuite bathroom, as well as a more modest bedroom with two single beds, perfect for children to share.
The apartment is located in vibrant Poble Sec, an area easily accessible by car and known for its fantastic restaurant scene. The nearby Carrer Blai street is especially great for culinary types, as it is lined with fantastic (and very economical) tapas bars that stay open late into the night. During your stay you will also be able to explore el Raval and the Sant Antoni neighborhood with its famous food market.
