L’illa Diagonal is a shopping center designed by architects Rafael Moneo and Manuel de Solà-Morales. It opened in 1993. It also has more than 170 stores, 2 4-star hotels, 2 schools, a sports center and a conference center.
The centre has a wide variety of shops selling women-wear, men-wear, children-wear, pregnancy-wear, lingerie and swimwear, sports clothing, shoes, bags and fashion accessories, jewelry and watches, home-ware, furniture, gifts and toys and cosmetics. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars to take a break and relax after a day of shopping.
Throughout the shopping mall, free Wi-Fi is available. There is also an anti-child loss system, which helps prevent children from getting lost from their parents.
