La Minerva Restaurant Barcelona
La Minerva Restaurant is located in the neighborhood of Gràcia in Barcelona, created based on the desire to offer a Swiss-style service but with a local personality. The cuisine is creative, although very influenced by French and Italian cuisine, and the key is the use of quality fresh products and the creation of homemade dishes with the chef’s personal touch. One can choose from its varied menu, classic as well as high-quality exotic meats, fresh homemade pasta, and 100% homemade desserts. In La Minerva, they also have a tasting menu with a variety of dishes chosen by the chef.
The place is divided into two floors – the ground floor, with capacity for up to 22 people, is where the bar is, ideal for a snack before or after dinner, next to the room and the upper floor, with capacity for up to 46 people, is spacious with a rustic touch. Their special dishes amuse all the people, such as a kangaroo carpaccio with canons, bean sprouts, radishes and lavender dressing; pulpitos in tempura with salad, pomegranate and chili mayonnaise and so on. A cozy but modern place! It’s a must-visited restaurant if you are in the wonderful neighborhood of Gracia.
The neighborhood of Gracia
The neighborhood of Gracia in Barcelona is approximately 1 km north of the center of Barcelona, at the north end of the PASSEIG DE GRÀCIA. This distinctively Catalan neighborhood can be found by walking distance of the center. A prosperous neighborhood, Gràcia in Barcelona nonetheless has more of a local than cosmopolitan feel to it, buzzing alive at night on the many public squares.
The most well-known attraction in Gracia is Gaudí’s PARC GÜELL. This project was converted into a public park. It’s located at about a 10-15 minute walk north from the centre of Gracia on El Carmel Mountain. Casa Vicens, Gaudí’s first important work and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also located in Gracia. You can view and RENT APARTMENTS IN THE GRACIA or if you want something smaller, RENT ROOMS IN GRACIA for amazing prices.
