L’Aquàrium De Barcelona: Exploring the Seaworld beauty
L’Aquàrium De Barcelona is well know for being the world’s most important marine leisure and education centre that is mainly dedicated to the undersea life of the Mediterranean sea.
Located in the old harbour Port Vell, the Aquarium in Barcelona houses over 11,000 animals of about 450 different species; all of them residing in the Mediterranean sea. The aquarium is also a learning centre where, whilst exploring the tanks, the public will also be informed and taught about the different species of fishes that are residing as well as their past stories and abilities.
With over 14 million people that have previously visited this building, L’Aquàrium De Barcelona is the best place to find out more about the seabed and all the different types of fish that you’ll see in wide tanks. A must-see of the day is the Oceanarium, as it is the only one in Europe that is 5m deep and 36m in diameter followed by a transparent 80 metre long tunnel that runs through the Oceanarium. This will allow you to walk among all the different fishes, sharks; as if you were swimming with them.
