The Hospital de Sant Joan de Deu is a private hospital with public funding. Founded in 1867 with over 130 years of experience the hospital uses highly specialized technology in which patients are the main concern.
The aim of the hospital is to provide comprehensive care to patients with the development of new scientific developments. Recently, they presented the new Strategic Plan PAIDHOS 2014. This plan, which was prepared with the participation of over 300 professionals is a list of 40 initiatives with the goal of creating an organization open to community, and allows research and teaching.
