Opened in 1991, the Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya at Montmeló is well known by racing fans and the racing industry as one of the most modern race track in the world, hosting many of the world’s main motor-racing events; such as MotoGP Grand Prix and Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The managers of Circuit Barcelona-Catalunya are offering guide tours of the race track, where you will be given the chance to explore some of the areas that are restricted to the public, and only professionals are allowed through. Throughout the tour, you will find out about the process and operations that goes on during a race and the different role each member of the F1 family has. Furthermore, you will find out more about the teams who are behind the famous faces of the racing world and the drivers, who bring the circuit alive during the competitions.
You will also have the opportunity to visit the parts of the track that you were only able to see on your TV: the briefing room, the press room, race control, the VIP room, the pit lanes, the paddock, the pre-podium, and, last but not least, the podium, where you can climb onto and have your picture taken as if you have just one the MotoGP Grand Prix!
