Matinée Summer Festival is located in a waterpark close by Barcelona called Illa Fantasia. This is the largest water park in Barcelona. Moreover, the park has attractions, slides, swimming pools, relaxation and picnic areas, bars, restaurant and a large wave pool where the spectacular central stage of the Matinée Summer Festival will be located. And they will open its doors exclusively to host the best dance festival of the summer.
The waterpark Illa Fantasia is a waterpark just 20 minutes outside Barcelona with 22 iconic attractions, three large swimming pools and a lake. The park offers you 9 restaurants and more than 9000 open-air picnic tables. Normally, the entrance for the park costs €28,- and the festival is only 10 euros more expensive. We would say that you get well worth for your money! There are lockers available at the park and changing rooms so buy a ticket, pack your bathing suit and let’s go to this amazing festival!
The festival will give you the ultimate summer vibes. Even with the summer temperatures of Spain, you will be able to dance because of the refreshment of the pool which is always close by. And if you are done dancing you can always try out the slides or just relax at one of the bars.
How to get there
There will be a shuttle bus available to bring you from Barcelona centre to the festival. This bus is free and will go every 15 minutes from 10 AM until 10:30 PM. The bus will leave from Plaça Catalunya (in front of the Hard Rock Café) and will bring you to the festival.
You could also choose to travel by train if you take line 1 of RENFE from Sants, Plaça Catalunya, Arc de Triomf, Clot or Badalona that stops towards Mataró, Calella or Blanes. You have to get out at Premià de Mar. From there, a shuttle bus will take you to the festival free of charge.
You could also go by car or taxi but we advise you to take the bus due to the costs, parking and traffic.
