L’Auditori of Barcelona
L’Auditori of Barcelona is Barcelona’s most recently created music venue and in addition the home of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra; the Barcelona Symphony Band; and the Museu de la Música. In the same vein, L’Auditori is a national institution which aims to bring Catalonia and Barcelona worldwide recognition through its ongoing, inclusive musical activities.
L’Auditori of Barcelona is starting off the new season with, for instance, the presentation of 430 concerts, 16 world premieres and 14 national premieres; that will once again fill its stage with music. Marco Mezquida, Annette Dasch and Jordi Savall, among other illustrious names, will be joining a now customary Barcelona Symphony Orchestra (OBC); which in addition this year will feature 9 prestigious guest conductors including Lili Boulanger, Sofia Gubaidulina and Andrea Tarrodi.
