WHO AbroadFest?
AbroadFest Barcelona 2016 is one the biggest party destinations for all students traveling abroad in the spring of 2016. Come bring your study abroad partners-in-crime, or come alone and make new friends. Either way don´t forget to use #abroadlife to make your friends back home jealous!
WHAT AbroadFest?
A three-day weekend party at the hottest clubs of Barcelona with some of the world´s most famous DJ´s. The lineup of AbroadFest 2015 included Kaskade, Madeon, Borgeous, Thomas old, Sander van Doorn, Showtek, Cedric Gervais and Laidback Luke. This is also a great opportunity to visit the city of Barcelona and, if you´re already living here, to get out and explore the wonderful nightlife of the City of Counts.
WHERE AbroadFest?
Although the full lineup and venues have not been announced yet, there will for sure be a party raging on Thursday night from midnight to 5:00 am at Razzmatazz club. To find the perfect place to crash after the party, check out our Apartments near Razzmatazz. The party will continue during the day at Shoko club in the Port Olimpic neighborhood of the city. Many of the other events will most like also take place close to this area, so we recommend taking a look at our accommodations in Vila Olimpica, to stay as close to the party as you can. WHEN AbroadFest?
AbroadFest Barcelona 2016 will be taking place between Thursday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 5th. It will begin with a Ticket Pickup between 4pm and 8pm at The Room (to which you will need to bring a valid ID and ticket confirmation email). The party will continue with a night event from midnight to 5 am at Razzmatazz, then a daytime event at Shoko, another nighttime event and will end with a daytime event on Saturday between 10 am and 10:30 pm, followed by the last night event.
WHY AbroadFest?
Why? Well that´s a silly question! To have the time of your life partying with your best friends whiledancing to the fabulous beats of internationally known DJ´s and enjoy the wonderful weather of Barcelona. For those traveling for the event or to visit friends studying here, it´s a great chance to do some sight-seeing and to realize why they actually should´ve picked Barcelona to study abroad in (instead of Paris or London…) And for those who live here it´s a great chance to learn more about the nightlife of Barcelona by getting a three-day long tour of its most happening clubs.
