The place is located in a great part of Barcelona as Sants is quite neighborly, residential and safe, and not to mention well-connected with other parts of the city in terms of transportation. Some of the city's greatest sights are nearby, namely the Plaça Espanya, the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, Fira Barcelona event halls and so on. The district also has a out of town appeal with plenty of bars and restaurants and a more laid back attitude as oppose to downtown Barcelona. Getting around from here is easy, you have the frequent buses, Mercat Nou (L1) and Badal (L5) metro stations and of course the focal point of the district, the Sants train station.
