The apartment is in Sants, which is regarded a distinct part of Barcelona because of its more laid back attitude and neighborly and safe atmosphere. There's also a wealth of bars, restaurants, small shops and business in the area, and no to mention the wonderful market, where you can get fresh products and live life like a true citizen of Barcelona. The district is well-connected, so getting around from here is hardly an issue. You have the plenty of buses in addition to the Mercat Nou (L1) and Badal (L5) metro stations and of course the Sants train station for travels within the inside and outside of Barcelona.
