“Centro Comercial Glories“ is an open space shopping center which opened in 1995 located in the area of El Clot, near to the intersection of Gran Via and Avinguida Diagonal. This up-and-coming area is undergoing a major makeover project to change the old industrial area of Poblenou into a technological and innovative district. The name [email protected] replaces 22a which was the areas industrial classification. Also nearby is the Torre Agbar which is definitely worth a visit whilst you’re in the area.
It’s considered one of the first shopping centers to have an open plan design incorporating outside space into its layout. In the shopping center itself there are over 160 shops across 3 floors, a Carrefour hypermarket, a cinema and many restaurants. It is a great place to shop and makes a refreshing change to the usual crowded and claustrophobic shopping center.
This open spaced shopping center uphold different categories such as Women and Mens fashion, top restaurants as well as international ones, electronics and travel agencies. Centro Comercial Glories has some of the most important brands.
The high street fashion shops such as Zara, Mango, H&M, Bershka, Springfield, Pull and Bear, C&A and much more! Whereas the restaurants and cafes consist of such international brands such as, Starbucks Coffee, McDonald’s, Burger King, Pans & Company, Golden Park, Lizarran, Nostrum and many more.
