The opening film of the event and the only movie for the first day will be Muscle Shoals, where the story of two studios from Alabama will be told by the people who created it. The list of artists appearing on the movie is filled with legends such as Bono, Aretha Franklin, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Alicia Keys.
If you’re looking for a dark drama, you should definitely go see Narco Cultura. It’s a story about drug trafficking and the music around the area of the border between Mexico and the United States. The documentary presents in a graphic style the cruelty, murders, corruption and the music made based on the past events.
Beware of Mr. Baker tells the story of Ginger Baker, the drummer in the famous bands Cream and Blind Faith, alongside the guitar legend Eric Clapton. Baker is described as the craziest, trashiest and best drummer of all time and is surely a person unlike anyone else. If you don’t already know what Ginger Baker is all about, this documentary sums up his personality and surrounding world in a proficient way.
David Lynch‘s Duran Duran – Unstaged is an “experiment”, as Lynch says, of almost two hours of live footage from the band Duran Duran. The psychedelic effects and the touch of the famous director’s will surely be delivering something very different to the audience.
In 20 Feet from Stardom you can get a peek in the lives and careers of back-up singers of some of the most famous artists in the world. The film features known artists like Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger and Stevie Wonder.
In addition to watching documents, there are parallel events at the festival as well.

In Meeting Point at Aribay Multicines Sala 5 you can gather with the other moviegoers after the last movie of the day, and discuss the films viewed that day and those yet to be shown. It’s open to the audience, guests and the members of the organisation. There will also be a different DJ every night providing the music, creating the set related to the last film screening of the day.
