Aerobus

The aerobus is an easy and cheap way to get to the city center of Barcelona. This express bus service normally runs between 6 and 15 minutes during the hours of operation. You are able to hop on the Aerobus from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The tickets for both T1 and T2 are ca €5.65 for a single ticket and €9.75 for a return tickets, however, the return ticket is only valid for 9 days after the purchase.

Metro / Train

If you prefer to travel by train rather than bus the RENFE train is always a good option. This train service runs around every 30 minutes to and from the Barcelona airport to the city centre. The travel time is approximately 25 minutes. You can get off or get on the train at different places in the city but if you want to get off at the airport the name of the stop is Aeropuerto.

If you’re traveling into the city center of Barcelona you can stop at Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Grácia or Clot. These stops are serviced by metro stops and then you can comfortably change to using the metro underground system for your final destination. For this you need a T10 ticket or a single metro ticket. You can buy these tickets at any metro stop or nearby entrance at the RENFE platform at Barcelona Airport. If you stop at Rocafort it will take you around 7 minutes to walk to our office.

Local Buses

In Barcelona you can travel in many different ways – by metro, bus, tram, FGC and many other transportations. If you have the T10 ticket you have access to all these four transportation ways! The bus network in Barcelona works conveniently and effectively. It can also be nicer if you like to see the surroundings you’re traveling by rather than sitting in a tube underground!

Taxi

Taxi in Barcelona is at low cost and a comfortable way to travel from the airport to your final destination, especially if you’re a big family or struggling with heavy luggage. You can find taxis at any main terminal exits. Just look at the signs pointing at the nearest taxi rank and you will find it. These taxis are available all night and don’t worry about being able to catch one because there are hundreds of them operating. The trip to the city will take around 20 to 30 minutes depending on road conditions and traffic. It might take a few more minutes if you’re traveling from Terminal 1 instead of Terminal 2.
